Holly Dignard Biography
Holly Dignard is a Canadian actress and native of Moncton, New Brunswick. She is fully bilingual in English and French.
She studied music (classical flute) and was going to pursue a career in that field before switching to acting. She studied theatre at Dalhousie University and graduated from the acting program at Vancouver Film School.
She made her TV debut on the Sci-Fi Channel's hit series Outer Limits. Her credits include The Chris Isaak Show, Stargate SG-1, Voyage of the Unicorn, Stargate Atlantis, The L Word, Battlestar Galactica, Kyle X/Y, Eureka, Supernatural, Kill Switch, and Polar Shift. She is one of the stars of the Canadian series Whistler
She has a production company entitled Jackal Empire Productions. Under this company she is a producer, a writer, and an actor. She is also a dancer and a painter.
She mentors children in Vancouver and works with WSPA. Her background in martial arts started with a brief stint in Kung Fu and kickboxing. She now trains heavily in Muay Thai. Dignard loves motorcycles and is an avid rider.
Dignard currently resides in Vancouver, British Columbia.
She is founder and president of Caleb's Hope, an NGO that works in East Africa with women and children affected by war, poverty, and HIV/AIDS.
