Reyhan Sahin Biography
Reyhan Şahin (*July 3, 1980 or 1981 in Bremen, Germany), also known as Lady "Bitch" Ray, is a German-speaking rapper and radio host of Turkish ethnicity.
Şahin was born into a so-called guest worker family originally from Sivas, Turkey, in Bremen's neighborhood of Gröpelingen (a typical working class quarter), where she graduated from Gymnasium. She studied linguistics and German Studies at the University of Bremen, where she earned a Master's degree with distinction . Her diploma thesis, which investigated "Youth Language in Hip Hop Culture" has been published in an anthology with the German publisher Brockmeyer-Universitätsverlag. She is currently working on her Ph.D. thesis on the "Semiotics of Clothes".
