Kristen Quintrall Biography

Born and raised in Germany to a military family, Kristen Quintrall attended Flordia State University's film school. Not content to learn just one aspect, Kristen focused her efforts on acting, writing, editing and directing. Upon graduation, she packed her things and moved to Los Angeles. Her first professional job was the head of editorial for Channel Records (a division of Interscope) creating music videos and web based promotional content. Her move into narrative film came in 2006 when she set up shop at indie studio The Asylum. At the Asylum she edited six feature films and stepped in front of the camera with starring roles in their films The Apocalypse, Transmorphers, and Universal Soldiers. The Asylum led her to work directly for comic mastermind Jerry Zucker as his personal editor. From there she moved to Sam Raimi's Ghost House pictures cutting web based versions of films like The Grudge 2. In early 2008 she moved to Lafayette, Louisiana to bring her unique creative vision, management skills, and technical prowess to Sweet Post Productions where she serves as the chief editor for their multi-picture, yearly slate. When she's not busy cutting features for international distribution, Kristen lends her sizable talents to the production world as both a producer and actress.
