Gerard Plunkett Biography

Gerard Plunkett was born and raised in Dublin, Ireland. The versatile actor began his career as a stand-up comic and impressionist on the Irish Cabaret scene. He moved to Canada in the early 80s where he became involved in improvisational comedy. A career in theatre soon followed. Gerard has received many best actor nominations for his work as a theatre actor. In 2001/2002 he starred as Henry Higgins in 'My Fair Lady' for which he received his third best actor nomination. On screen, Plunkett has played a wide range of diverse characters.
