From a young age it was clear to see Kieran has the potential to go far in the acting world, and his parents encouraged him to be involved in small amateur productions. At the age of nine, he auditioned for the highly popular 'ITV Television Workshop' (Central Junior television workshop at the time), this being the first step in his career. From here, Kieran was taught along with the other members of the group by Ian Smith, to better his acting skills and perform at far higher standards than your average young actor. After a series of walk-ons (non-speaking-artist), Kieran landed his first part. Small as it was it was the start of what could be a large career. In 'Bernards Watch', a CITV program, Kieran had a small part in a few episodes, this not being the most fantastic of roles, but still leaving him hungry for more at the age of 10. Shortly after this he began to attend a lot more auditions as Casting directors heard of the workshop's reputation giving the people involved in it a far higher chance of roles. But it was not till 2001 that Kieran landed his next role. In the BBC Drama 'In a Land of plenty', watched by many, Kieran played the part of a young Robert Freeman. This being a great chance for any young man wishing to enter the business to see a full cast and crew at work. 2001 being a busy year for Kieran he then landed the lead part of a Childrens Educational Drama by a company very popular with schools, 'Look and Read'. The title of the series: 'Zzaap and the word master'. Then finally to make the year superb, Kieran had an audition for a part of a regular cast member in the 2001 version of 'Crossroads'. Whilst some areas of the show often came under fire, he did not. He remained in the show playing the part of 'Scott Booth', up until late 2002 when the show unfortunately came to its end.Since Crossroads Kieran spent the few years after that concentrating on his school work and exams, but still attending the odd audition here and there. Now having left school and concentrating harder on a future as an actor, he has had small parts in 'Wire in the blood' and is constantly meeting new people and learning the business.
