
Upcoming, Jeremy is starring opposite Jesse Eisenberg in The Ambassadors, based on Eisenberg's script. Jeremy co-stars alongside Katie Holmes, Anna Paquin, Josh Duhamel, Malin Akerman, Adam Brody and Elijah Wood in Galt Niederhoffer's 2010 film The Romantics. An actor trained at Yale, The Royal Academy Of Dramatic Art in London and Chicago's Steppenwolf Theatre Company, Jeremy has been hailed as 'The Excellent Jeremy Strong' by Ben Brantley of the New York Times. Currently, Jeremy is featured in Oren Moverman's The Messenger starring Ben Foster, Woody Harrelson and Samantha Morton which premiered at Sundance in 2009, garnered awards at Berlin and Deauville and was released by Oscilloscope (Top Ten Films Of The Year/National Board Of Review, Golden Globe, SAG and Indie Spirit Nominations). Last year Jeremy starred opposite Oscar Nominee Frank Langella in A Man For All Seasons on Broadway at The Roundabout Theatre Company, directed by Tony-winner Doug Hughes (Doubt). He starred in Pulitzer Prize nominee Theresa Rebeck's new play Our House Off-Broadway at Playwrights Horizons, directed by Tony- winner Michael Mayer (Spring Awakening). His performance was called 'A Standout' by Christopher Isherwood of the NY Times, 'Mesmerizing' by the Associated Press and 'Indelible' by Time Out New York. In 2008, he was featured in M. Night Shyamalan's The Happening opposite Mark Wahlberg and Zooey Deschanel, and played the lead in the independent film Humboldt County opposite Frances Conroy, Peter Bogdanovich, Fairuza Balk and Chris Messina, released by Magnolia Pictures. Also in 2008, Jeremy appeared in Richard Nelson's Conversations In Tusculum at The Public Theatre opposite David Strathairn, Brian Dennehy and Aidan Quinn, and was nominated for the Lortel Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in an Off- Broadway Show for his work in David Ives' New Jerusalem at Classic Stage Company directed by Tony- winner Walter Bobbie (Chicago). Previously Off-Broadway, Jeremy was featured in Pulitzer Prize and Oscar winner John Patrick Shanley's Defiance at Manhattan Theatre Club, and in Richard Nelson's Frank's Home, directed by Tony-winner Robert Falls (Long Day's Journey Into Night) at Playwrights Horizons. Additionally, Jeremy assisted Daniel Day-Lewis on the film The Ballad Of Jack And Rose. He is the 2009/2010 recipient of the Lincoln Center Theater Annenberg Fellowship for 'An artist of extraordinary talent.'
