Kevin Ferguson Biography

Derrick Deane was born in Inglewood, California on May 14, 1981. His first taste of entertaining came in 1999 when a casting call was held at his junior college. Eager to try his hand at professional entertainment, Deane was chosen to be one of 100 extras selected for the movie, 'Love and Basketball.' He would follow that experience up with more work on the TV school drama 'Boston Public.' Deane's first behind the camera job came while working on the independent drama, 'Unbroken Circle,' in 2005. Following his graduation from Cal State Fullerton with a degree in Radio-TV-Film, Deane has worked steadily on short films, theatre and television.
