Pinchoo Kapoor Biography
Priti was born in a Kashmiri family on December 24, 1957 in Bombay, Maharashtra, India. Her dad is veteran actor D.K. Sapru, and her brother is character actor, Tej Sapru. The Sapru family used to live in a big bungalow at Juhu Tara, near Juhu Beach, Bombay. She studied in St. Joseph's High School, Juhu, Bombay, up until the 9th standard. An ardent lover of pets, she often celebrated their birthdays. She has acted in lead as well as in supporting roles in a fairly large number of Punjabi language movies, and occasionally takes up the role of a supporting actress in Hindi movies. She has also directed some Punjabi movies like 'Qurbani Jatt Di'. She is married to Utpal Ahluwalia and has re-located abroad. She is proficient in Hindi, English, and Punjabi languages.
