Sima Fisher Biography
Sima grew up in Cambridge with a large family . She than moved to Milton Ontario and got scholarships at her high school for Athleticism, Top grades and Leadership She went to College for Fitness and Health. Sima later became a fitness instructor and Entertainment staff for Club Med. Sima than realized how much she loved entertainment and started to train as an actress and singer. Sima then moved to Australia where she rediscovered what her strengths were. She was almost signed a record label in Australia to record a full album but the deal fell through, so she came back to Canada. Sima went to school for acting at Equity Showcase and studied acting for film at EVN Studios. Sima trained her vocals with Voices and Company. Sima learned her skills by listening to her favorite artists and picking up technique and by doing independent and student films.She than moved to Toronto where she met various recording artists and producers and began and writing and recording songs. She also started to work with Alex Franco and completed 'Set Me Free'. She than moved to LA and started to tour around LA doing all original music shows, sold albums and gained a following of fans Sima than moved back to Toronto and started to write her second album which was more adult contemporary made for movies and televisionSima moved to Toronto and started working in movies and television, participating in fitness competitions,Ms. Canada Pageants and landing roles in TV shows and movies shot in Toronto. She traveled to New York and LA where she had friends in the industry and did a little print work and modeling for fashion designersSima has many creative outlets including painting, singing, acting, dancing, poetry, story writing. All of these outlets help to balance Sima as an artist at full.Sima is presently working on two new albums where she co-writes all of her songs. One with top producer Peter Prilesnik (Simon Wilcox helping with song lyrics) and the other with long term partner Alex Franco. She also continues to work on her painting collection. Sima is putting together a show for her new tour around Europe, Japan and Toronto with her burlesque style dancers and original music.
