Casey Boersma Biography

Nate was born to act and perform! He began his career in 1997 at the age of five by performing magic for his family and friends. After several years of success in local venues, he was encouraged, at age 13, to pursue his acting career in Hollywood.Soon after he moved to Los Angeles, he immediately began acting classes and pursuing a professional acting career. His years of performing magic for family and friends paid off when he became accepted as a professional member of the Hollywood Magic Castle's Junior Magician Society.His professional career began when he played a Guest Star on 'The Bernie Mac Show.' Nate's career really began to move forward during the summer of 2006 when he played a recurring role on the Nickelodeon series, 'Unfabulous', and acted opposite John Malkovich in the feature film, 'The Great Buck Howard'.Nate's first lead role in a feature film, 'Drillbit Taylor', with Owen Wilson, was released in March 2008. Nate completed two additional films, 'Role Models' and 'Fanboys' which were released in 2008.He continued to work on several pilots, including, 'Mars Sucks', 'Under the Stairs', 'Colt Sokoloff' in 2008. He also can be seen in national commercials for State Farm Insurance and Time Warner Cable. His current roles include Disney shows, 'Zeke and Luther', 'J.O.N.A.S!' and 'Hannah Montana', all to air in spring of 2009.Nate enjoys directing and producing films and hopes to attend UCLA, USC, or Chapman University majoring in film production. He has started his own company Prodigy Productions, a production company owned and operated by teens. His philosophy on life is 'Live like there is no tomorrow!'Nate was born in Ravenna, Ohio, near the Akron/ Canton area.
